Esta publicación es el resultado de un proyecto elaborado en el marco del trabajo conjunto que se realiza en el Conglomerado Agroindustrial Olivícola.

El Conglomerado Agroindustrial Olivícola es un espacio público-privado de encuentro, coordinación, planificación y ejecución de acciones estratégicas, constituido formalmente por la Asociación Olivícola Uruguaya (ASOLUR) y representado en el ámbito público por la Oficina de Programación y Política Agropecuaria (OPYPA) del Ministerio de Ganadería, Agricultura y Pesca (MGAP), la Dirección Nacional de Industrias (DNI) del Ministerio de Industria, Energía y Minería (MIEM), y el Programa de Competitividad de Conglomerados y Cadenas Productivas (PACC) del Área de Políticas Territoriales de la Oficina de Planeamiento y Presupuesto (APT-OPP).
Este espacio asegura la representación, a través de ASOLUR, de empresas del sector olivícola, y de las instituciones y agencias públicas relacionadas a la actividad productiva/industrial.

La Asociación Olivícola Uruguaya (ASOLUR) es una institución sin fines de lucro que nuclea a todos los participantes de la cadena olivícola: productores, viveros, almazaras, técnicos y proveedores, con el objetivo principal de impulsar el desarrollo sustentable del sector.

This publication is the result of a project implemented as part of the joint work being undertaken in the Conglomerado Agroindustrial Olivícola [Olive Agro-Industrial Conglomerate].
This conglomerate provides a public-private point of contact with the opportunity for meeting, coordinating, planning and executing strategic action. It is officially constituted by the Asociación Olivícola Uruguaya (ASOLUR) (Uruguayan Olive Association) and represented in the public arena by Uruguay’s Oficina de Programación y Política Agropecuaria (OPYPA) of the Ministerio de Ganadería, Agricultura y Pesca (MGAP) (Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries), the Dirección Nacional de Industrias (DNI) (National Industry Directorate) of the Ministerio de Industria, Energía y Minería (MIEM) (Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining), and the Programa de Competitividad de Conglomerados y Cadenas Productivas (PACC) (Conglomerate and Productive Chain Competitiveness Programme) of the Área de Políticas Territoriales (Territorial Policy Area) of the Oficina de Planeamiento y Presupuesto (APT-OPP) (Planning and Budget Bureau).
The organization ensures that all enterprises in the olive oil industry, as well as institutions and public agencies connected to the productive/industrial activity are represented.

The Uruguayan Olive Association (ASOLUR) is a non-profit organization that brings together all of the stakeholders in the olive industry chain: producers, nurseries, olive oil mills, technical experts and suppliers, with the main purpose of boosting the continued momentum of the industry’s sustainable development.
